FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS

DONATE YOUR FOOD AND GROCERY ITEMS TO HELP CANCER PATIENTS

When a person has cancer, the last thing they should have to worry about is money for food.  But the truth is, cancer is financially difficult for patients and their families.  When a person can’t work because he or she is sick, it can be difficult to pay for basic living supplies.  Some cancer patients can’t afford to eat every day.

Government nutritional assistance programs don’t allow the purchase of items such as toothpaste, soap, and household cleaning supplies.

Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is trying to help by providing essential items and food for their patients in their time of need.  Patients can visit the pantries at our Glendale or Chandler locations and pick out the items they need for free.

If you have unopened personal care items or non-perishable food you can donate, Ironwood Cancer and Research Centers will make sure it gets to the families of a cancer patient that can use it.

We are grateful for any donations but have the biggest need for:

Paper towels, toilet paper, tissues,  Ensure®, Gatorade, canned soups, canned meats such as tuna, beans, protein bars, healthy snacks, rice, pasta, canned vegetables, pudding, JELL-O, diapers, soap, and antibacterial hand sanitizer.

If you would like to meet with one of our Social Workers please e-mail socialwork@ironwoodcrc.com or call Integrative Services at 480-314-6660.  Our support groups and services are available to our patients and we encourage you to attend.
